Shadowed Moon, so distracted by the delicious and juicy looking blueberry flying his way took it straight to the face. Dazed, the mouse eventually shook his little head and quickly stuffed as much of it as he could fit into his mouth before grabbing a juicy looking strawberry and happily tossing it back to the marshfowl with a delighted and thankful squeak.

Their food fight had transcended into a food share. Pecking at the tossed strawberry she ripped part of it off and threw it back at him and continued to eat the remaining at her feet.

The mouse, quite happy with this turn of events as he was never one for fighting, happily (attempted) to catch the piece of strawberry as it landed directly in his chest. Happily stuffing that into his mouth as well Shadowed Moon glanced around for something they hadn't yet tried, finding some smelly looking grasses he did his very best to throw the bundle over toward the marshfowl, stuffing a few that remained behind in his own mouth as they failed to fly other. Sticking his tongue out at the bitter taste his laughter chittered out at the same time.

The smelly bundle collided with her chest and she clucked as she inspected it curiously. Pecking at it she wasn’t sure she liked it or not but spotted a stray raspberry and threw it back at him.

Since the marshfowl was throwing such a tasty strawberry his way this time Shadowed Moon was going to find something much nicer. Stuffing himself full of the strawberry with one little hand while the other dug around to find something to throw, the mouse spotted a lovely orange cloudberry still in it's flower-like stem, which he promptly tossed over so it spun as it flew toward his food friend.

This next item was fascinating. The cloudberry wasn’t anything she had seen before and she caught it in her wing as it slid down the side of her body. Inspecting it she pecked at the berries and clucked with approval. Looking around she found a huckleberry and rolled it his way like you would a ball to pins.

The mouse was quite excited for the huckleberry, as it would be much more of a morsel at his small size and leaped right into it, stuffing it into his face with another happy chitter. Looking around the mouse began tossing back several huckleberries of his own to the marshfowl, alternating between eating and throwing.

One of the berries collides with her foot and she pecked at it and gave a happy cluck. Looking around she found a kiwi and tossed it at the mouse, but then realized it was a rather large piece of food to throw its way. Too late now.

The mouse dropped the berries he was holding and excitedly grabbed the kiwi, rolling over completely as the fruit's momentum pushed him straight over. Squeaking excitedly, Shadowed Moon happily dug into the kiwi, stuffing himself full of the fruit. Honestly, he wasn't sure how much more he'd be able to eat, but that wasn't going to stop him... just yet. Looking around the mouse slowly did his best to push a large (for him) green apple over at the marshfowl.

She was sure this was a comical sight to behold. As the apple rolled to a halt at her chest she pecked at it and threw a snap pea back towards her mouse opponent. Pecking at another one nearby she was starting to be tired and full.

The mouse headed closer to catch the snap pea, happily cracking into the shell only to eat both shell and pea. Shadowed Moon doubted he could much more then this, but maybe... one more thing... it seemed the marshfowl was in similiar straights due to how slowly she was eating, so with such in mind he tried to find the perfect last thing for them to eat. A large melon was cracked nearby, so the mouse started doing his best to drag a piece over to the marshfowl, flinging it with all his body weight, to share perhaps...?

She watched, while trying not to laugh, as he heaved into this melon. Clucking with laughter she gave a small push back and it seemed perhaps that was all that was needed to end this smorgasbord. Pecking at the melon she was half tempted to cuddle the mouse, was she broody? Who knew. It was all the food eating making her go into a coma perhaps.

The mouse, squeaking happily at the push, quickly joined in devouring the melon. Stuffed so full he could barely move, Shadowed Moon quickly snuggled up into the marshfowl's feathers, and nestled into the warmth of her side. He wouldn't be able to move now if he wanted too, so this fight was long over. Happy chittering echoed from this mouse as he wiggled happily next to his new friend.

Tucking him under a wing she pecked at a few bits of stray melon and gave a happy little chicken like hum.
