(solo) Hush wants a muskie

Post by Owlsomniac »

Hush has seen the booth with the fluffy muskie hounds, and finds them irresistibly adorable. For many years, even before her ascension, she has lived on a raised bank near a river where she has dug herself a sizeable den over the many years. The land there is closer to the northern edge at the foot of the mountains, far dryer than the middle of the swamp where bogs and marshes are common. Here the trees are thinner, interspersed with conifers and deciduous varieties that stand tall and proud even the depths of winter.

Right now, winter berries hang bright and heavy on the many bushes she's cultivated around her territory. Fish are plentiful in the river, and hunting is good.

She has no doubt that one of these creatures would find her home quite comfortable. Her cave worms are ever diligent home-keepers, constantly clearing out the multi-chambered den of her dwelling from even the slightest refuse.

Her own fluffy tail twitches in nervous, but excited, anticipation. She makes her way too the booth, and the fluffy kiokote in charge of it - and makes her case.

Hush dips her head in greeting, unable to suppress a nervous flicker of her fangs. "Hello.. I was hoping to adopt one of your puppies. They seem…well-suited to my home," she admits, gesturing with a snout towards the napping muskie hounds. "Dry land, good hunting, plenty of berries. Even cave worms for housekeeping."

As Hush scans the slumbering muskie hounds, a thrill of anticipation hums through her. Each pup holds the potential for a unique kind of chaos, a furry whirlwind to weave through the quiet rhythms of her solitary life. The choice won't be easy, but for the first time in a long while, Hush feels a genuine sense of excitement for the future. Her den, once a haven of solitude, is, hopefully, about to become a haven of fluff, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
