Dreams happily ran along the waters edge, nosing through bushes and leaping over smaller ones.

Time to play the game of Find The Magical One! It was time for more beautiful, wonderful, the true gift of the swamp - children!

It wasn’t long before there was someone else running alongside the antlered Kimeti. An Eaglehound with a halo of rainbow orbs, bounding along, enjoying the enthusiasm. Once Forgotten was always pleased to find an eager parent-to-be and he could just tell that this buck was definitely on the hunt for a blessing.

As he ran, he tilted his head towards the other and gave a greeting bark.

Dreams ran faster, laughing joyfully.

"Bright morning to you, Giver of Blessings! Shall we race to that tree?" Not even waiting for an answer, he took off at top speed.

The Eaglehound barked in agreement and chased after the buck. After all, what sort of Kiokote didn't love a race? It was in his blood.

It might have been more appropriate for him to slow down and let the other win but it had been a long time since he'd enjoyed any sort of competition, and so he ran with all his might, transforming halfway into his Kiokote form, just to enjoy it even more.

Dream is left, quite literally, in the dust as he attempts to leap a log and utterly fails.

He falls face first into a handy mudpuddle, and comes up sputtering.

Seeing the fleeing tail in the distance, he looks frusterated for a moment then merrily laughs and hops up to follow, trailing mud all along the way.

"Well, dont race you! Lesson learned!"

He reached the tree with a triumphant laugh.

But upon turning, Once Forgotten was instantly filled with guilt and regret when he saw his opponent staggering up covered in mud. At least the buck seemed in good humour over the matter.

“I’m so sorry! I hope you didn’t hurt yourself!” Though from a quick glance, he seemed to be moving fine. “It’s been a while since I’ve gone all out, that wasn’t very Chosen by the MotherFather of me, was it?”

Though he would privately admit to himself how pleased that even an older fellow like himself still had the energy for a good old fashioned race.

“I do believe I owe you a blessing,” he announced, straightening his stance. The rainbow orbs that floated around his head glowed merrily. “For grace and speed and humility in defeat. May your future children grow to be healthy and strong, always willing to take on a challenge!”

He gave a firm nod once he was done.

“And I am sure, if given the chance. You will beat me next time!”

Dream smiled as bright as the sun and leapt in place, mud splatting down on his hooves and just... all over his antlers.

"Thank you swift one! I hope to race you again, and do a bit better! Thank you!"

And he ran off, hopefully not to fall face first once again.
