[PRP] Caw Caw [Slay/Debts]

With her pack off to scour some food from another part of the swamp, Slay and her 'weird dog' Ambush were left alone to do their own little thing for the afternoon, sniffling and digging for fun little knick-knacks, bones and shiny things that her dogs would find amusing. It was really fun to bond with the little creature, a change from all the growling, barking, and snapping jaws that her pack communicated with, and he saw things that none of the bigger ones could, being so small and near the ground.

Cresting over a little hill, following the silly little creature, she watched as he pulled out a rather large sized scale, likely frrom another kin, or a fish that was once a meal close by, marveling at the shinyness.

"Good job, this will help the pack with their claws," she said softly, watching as Ambush did a little happy dance in reward.

From above a crow was circling, watching everything and nothing... until it spotted the shine of something on the ground and with a screech it broke into a dive with the intent on snatching up the shiny thing. Or maybe the small animal holding the shiny thing. Both? It was hard to say really. Either way a flurry of dark feathers descended on the pair as a dark buck came upon the scene and he groaned.

"Thief stop it! Leave them alone!" he yelled at the crow. The bird was unbelievably helpful. But also slightly a menace, which was being proven right now. He came running up at the bird, chasing it off and groaned a little turning to the doe. "Are you okay? Did Thief hurt you and your little friend?"
