[PRP] When the Moon Hits Your Eye... (Bay Sleep x Worlds Within Worlds)

Worlds was very much in her own little world as they followed the path, utterly absorbed by the menagerie of different plants and bugs and creatures. The island was small, but it help its own little ecosystem, and though it wasn't of the sea, she was marbles by it all the same.

Bay Sleep's nuzzle brought her back to him with a blink, and she looked up to nose under his chin affectionately, grateful to have been brought there, shown this. It was amazing to behold, and she felt incredibly privileged for it.

But there was more, and as they reached the pool at the center the doe paused, sinking down right to lay right at the very edge of it, head dipping until her nose was so close to the surface of the water that a heavy breath in would result in a lot of sputtering and coughing. "This place is remarkable," she remarked softly, awe in her voice.

Bay Sleep followed Worlds to the pool's edge, and settled down beside her. He smiled as he looked up above. The moon's position was perfect, and he was thankful for their timing. In front of them, the pool's edge was still, and the clear water was the perfect mirror for the full moon directly above. There were no creatures, corals, or patches of algae to distract from the sparkling water's edge. The darkness of the night and the rest of the island felt like it had fallen away and it was just her, him, and the pool in front of them.

The lanky buck smiled when his paramour investigated the water's edge. When she pulled her face way, he nuzzled her gently. He almost didn't want to disturb the perfectly still surface, but the temptation to taste the crystal clear water was strong. Never had he seen such a strangely clear pool before in his life, and he wasn't sure if the water would taste better or worse because of it. He briefly looked into Worlds Within Worlds' eyes before looking back to the pool. "Shall we?" he asked quietly, not wanting to break the spell this clearing seemed to cast.

With that, Bay Sleep dipped his head forward to drink the water of Moonpool Island with Worlds Within Worlds.
