No. The thought was sharp and almost violent as she froze in mid-step. She was supposed to be recruiting kin to help her with these multiplying whales, not blessing—would that be immoral, to bless a kin and entice them to lend her the clutch when they grew? She giggled; what an absurd idea. One that she definitely couldn't pull off. She'd have to bless so many kin and try to remember who they were and figure out a way to track down their offspring and—she shuddered. That would be much more work than taking one trek to bless one kin. A sigh, as she turned to the right and broke off.
She had signed up for this, she reminded herself, as she lay her forever-attempted-but-never-accomplished recruiting mission to the side. Maybe she should find a buck; surely, if they were her own children . . . Breach shook her head, if anything she might be going crazy.
"Focus. One blessing and then we'll get on track to recruit help," she muttered to herself.
