His eyes are closed. There is nothing but darkness and the sounds of the land surrounding him.

It is safe here, it is warm here.

But it is boring.

There are things beyond. Different lands to be seen, different kin to meet, and thrills to be found.

Dancing, hunting, and sounds of fun taunt him from a distance within the darkness.

If only he would open his eyes, if only he would look upon the world. He can feel his own chest rising and falling as his breathing increases.

Is this... Excitement?

He turns his head before slowly opening his eyes, blinking as the light enters them.

The land and sky stretch before him, flooding his mind and overwhelming his senses.

It is beyond beautiful.

The buck knows he must see it all.

Beauty only is seen through the eye of a beholder.
