Siblings. Who needed them? The answer was she did but they'd both taken off and she found herself struggling at this idea of being alone. Pink and Purple should have taken her with them, to be sure, but now that they hadn't . . . She was determined to find her own activities and her own friends and her own life. Where the hell those were, well answers weren't always so easy to know until you found them.

Black trotted, knees high and head tilted in a jovial jaunt, through the swamp. It was turning cold and the leaves were turning colors. She hated it, a lot. She was a summer kind of girl and she couldn't help but wish she had a fire salamander or a warm body to cuddle with or a hot spring. She felt herself stop in her tracks at the thought, face crumbling into a grimace. Where in the world were hot springs when you needed them to warm your cold fur and frozen bones?

She huffed out a breath and watched as it curled into the air, "Why'd you have to leave me behind, you losers," she sniffled.
