PERSONALITY As a child she played in the icy streams and meltwater pools in her tribe's territory; as an adult, she was always among the volunteers to go to the deepest lakes and farthest rivers to bring in a catch from the waters. She had a taste for fish, but also one for danger -- her favorite thing to do was haul in the big, slick, struggling blackfish from the surf, jaws clamped into its flesh. Time after time she did this, until one day she returned with a fish and earned its name.

Blackfish is strong and competent and maybe a little overconfident, but she makes up for it in her unceasing drive to help others.
