Seemingly as soon as it all begins; it ends. Food stops flying, everyone are kin again(though maybe a bit discombobulated after all that), and things have gone silent save for a few soft clucks or squeaks from actual chickens and mice.

Story clears his throat and squares his shoulders as though to shake off the fact that he is absolutely covered in mash root vegetables and berry sludge.

"Yes," he 'hmms' out carefully, "well. That was certainly something that ... happened."
