Hang the Moon returned the nuzzle and nodded as Sun-Cursed asked for potential help in the future as well. She’d been there for the doe when she’d been just a helpless foal and she’d continue to be there for her as long as Hang the Moon lived.

“Of course,” she said with a smile. “But I want to hear all about it if he does feel the same way, too.” She liked good news just as much as helping others, after all!

“Come with me,” she said, nodding her head down the path she had come from. “I’ll show you a little meadow where I’ve been planting some herbs and flowers. They’re good for healing but they’re also pretty and smell nice. You can take some back to furnish your den.”
