[B] All Tangled Up - In A Tangle & The Killing Moon [FIN]

Tangle was...tangled. In a few ways to be sure. She had met In Defiance in her travels through the swamp, they had tangled and now... well now she was pregnant, heavily so. She had also until moments before been quite literally tangled up in some undergrowth she'd only barely pulled her leg free, some of it still clinging to her leg. A low noise of annoyance from her as she shook it clear was the only noise she made as she continued to wander. She'd met plenty of parents during her aimless wandering, and some spoke of Stags and Mares, many did not, but those who did, said it would be a wondrous thing for the life she carried, and now she was wandering, and searching. Some told her that these rare ones were just that rare. Hard to find. That even if you looked you didn't always find one, nor did they find you. But if you were truly lucky...and she did hope she was... you'd find, or be found. Thoughts of clinging undergrowth pushed from her mind as she continued on.

She found him.

Though he had been waiting, enjoying the shade of a mangrove, using the thick roots as a resting place. The Killing Moon's head turned towards her lazily as she pushed through the undergrowth to reach the small muddy clearing. His glowing eyes thoughtfully roamed her heavily pregnant form. She'd done well to reach him.

"You made it," he said, as he smile charmingly.

There was something close to a gasp of surprise from her, though it could just as easily have been a gasp of relief to be through the undergrowth she'd been traveling through.

Probably more the first than the second as her eyes snapped to the Stag quickly. She hadn't expected an audience! She shook vines from her hind leg and looked back to him. "I did? I mean .. I did!" She was confused a bit sure but also proud she'd made it through the undergrowth as pregnant as she was. His charming smile setting her at ease as she breathed out a soft sigh of relief as she took a chance to stand still and rest a moment.

The Killing Moon hummed softly in agreement.

Not that he’d ever been pregnant but he couldn’t imagine carrying a bunch of sacs around in a thick belly through a hot overgrown swamp to be particularly enjoyable. It was bad enough just having long hair that could snag on every stray twig.

“May your children be just as determined and formidable, destined to push through the hardest obstacles.”

Oh my, he was quite the magnanimous one today.

“Now, come rest with me awhile.”

His words washed over her and she was very pleased by the Stags blessing a content sound from her. "Thank you." she even sounded content at his blessing (and she was aware to be anything else was ungrateful, and she was anything but that!)

His offer to rest with him was also accepted gratefully and she sank down to rest near him. Rest would do her good before she continued on her way really.
