[PRP] They don't look dead? (His Dark Materials x Antidote)

She nosed the carcasses. They weren't cool or stiff and out of her periphery, she was pretty sure she saw a tail or tongue twitch. Surely she wasn't imagining it. Her fur brushed up against a few lizards and she would bet a week's day's worth of berries something grabbed at her, but when she looked back, the bodies were still. If only she could see closer and without her favorite skull, then she might take into account the still rising chests, albeit very faintly, of the prone lizards.

Antidote came across this family, gang, or gaggle of lizards when she noticed a faint glow coming from the underside of some boulders. Since it was only dusk and not fully dark, the powerful glow was alluring. When she got to the mushrooms, she noticed the fallen lizards. She tried poking them with a stick before nudging them with her nose. She wasn't hungry, only curious. A phantom meep and sigh were heard but once again, when she turned to the source, nothing had changed or moved.

More to herself than anyone else, she whispered to the air, "I think they're alive."
