A tug at the back of Tidal Terror's mind had been pulling her away from the shore lately. All too quickly had she gone from journeying to the mountains, to finding children, to having children, and now...
Well.
Right here, right now, she was a turtle.
There was more to it than that, certainly. Like this tugging that pulled at what usually were her hooves. It pushed her more than the call to the obelisk; this felt urgent. And so she swam, daring any lurking caiman to come after her hide.
And now she felt...close. Her glowing red eyes peeked from the waters to catch a visage of black, red, and yellow.
Well, if no one else was around...
Tidal Terror pulled herself onto the shore and shifted to her totoma form. She called out, her voice booming as ever, "Hello over there! Are you the one I'm looking for?" [imgright]https://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/imag ... uncert.png[/imgright]

Roars jumped at the voice. "Maybe Are you one able to bless expecting parents?" He looked a little sheepish, from jumping and being so blunt with his reply. Attempting to see the difference between the last totoma he rand into and the one standing near by, the kimeti buck could find similarities of all the kin he knew. Well this doesn't help me. Shifting his weight, with the normally recognized movements to the lion (Leads slept on), the maned buck waited.

The big totoma laughed. "I am indeed! So that answers my question. I am glad to have finally found you! Congratulations on the new life you will be welcoming into the world. You must be very proud. But usually a kin is..." she thought about how to put it, delicately. If she could.
"Concerned about something or other if they look to be blessed, yes? Do not be afraid to speak of such things to me; I am more than happy to help!"

Re: [B] Guiding a Father to Be (Roars Like Thunder X Tidal Terror)
Relief flooded through him. "Well, I am concerned a bit. I worry about the mother, tough as she may be, I want her to be healthy after." He thought about the children and what he was concerned most about. "As for our children, I worry they wont be strong enough to deal with the areas we live in. I am sure they want to explore, but the Ache!" Would his children try to leave the swamp, even with the Ache upon them? He didn't know, but surely one of them would try to see what it was like outside the main swamp areas.

"The Ache is troubling," Tidal Terror agreed. "Especially for the young who have never seen beyond the swamp! They grow so curious of the other places out there. It is a shame that so many may never see the world from a mountaintop." Her own children were among that number; Tidal Terror never spent a moment of regret about leaving the home of the totoma, but her children and others of her tribe only had her word to understand their heritage. That was a large burden to bear, especially when she could not even show them the landmarks that made a totoma's heart swell with pride.
"If the mother is tough, I think she should be fine, as long as she doesn't push herself. But I will keep her in my thoughts and hope that the swamp will provide for her. Carrying young is its own burden, as wonderful as it is."
The totoma then paused in thought.
"I think I know what you are in need of." She took a breath. "May your children know when to recognize their limits, and understand to not push themselves too hard! May they find wonder in the world around them so they don't rush into anything beyond their ability."
