At the end of the day, Changes knew there was no place like home. His definition of home had expanded decisively over the years; his frame of referenced had changed so much as he’d aged. From the start in the Mother’s Club, to meeting Half Truth and including her in the calculus; from meeting his expanded family on Rose’s side to welcoming his own sisters and brothers, Changes’s home was something fluid. He’d dreamed amorphous in his egg; definitions could always be different from a certain point of view.
