Too many eyes. Kaliedoscopic.
Something's wrong with you.
Sighted incorrectly.
Misshapen.
All wrong.

Four eyes.
Four is an unlucky number.
Alone at night.
The shadows move.
Like creeping creatures.
Fangs and teeth.
And too many eyes.

MIsshapen shadows.
All wrong.
Like me.
Many eyes.
Too many.

They move.
I move.
Darkness bleeds into my flesh.
Blood on the snow.
Part of me.

Moving towards waking.
Darkness affixed by the heel.
The sun rises.
And sets.
But the shadows.

Cannot be outrun.
Even by their ruler.
Regicide.
