The Blood Circle
A peaceful flock of do-gooders who enjoy singing, chanting, and social get-togethers, The Blood Circle is friendly to their neighbors and not suspicious in any way whatsoever.

They are lead by a charismatic if ominous looking doe named Blood of the Lamb whose title is the Caretaker.

All of them also look like they are covered in blood, but you shouldn't worry about that either.

How to Join
There is only one requirement, but it is a peculiar one! If a kin wishes to join, they must be inspected for the correct marking! If a marking is close, the Caretaker will decide whether it qualifies or not.

Requirements
To join the tribe the kin must have red bloodsplatter markings. If a bloodspatter marking is small or hard to see, please point out its location in the application. Just one marking is fine.

So to make the cut, the marking must follow these conditions:
1. Red
2. Splatter/Drip

Doesn't count:
Gore, Bones, Burns, Wounds. It must be a blood splatter.
Kin that are entirely red.
Red dots or spots.
Splatter markings in any other color.

The Blood Circle (Main Tenants)

Main Tenants
Community.
The Blood Circle is first and foremost a Community. Cooperation is first, both with each other and with their neighbors!

Friends.
Kin with blood markings are referred to as "Friends". Kins of many different talents and personalities are marked, but it is believed that any kin with a blood marking has an important purpose and role, and is a Friend, even if they are not a member of the tribe. There is a certain amount of trust that Friends extend to each other above others.

Enlightenment.
The Circle believes that every individual has their own path to reach higher states of being, whether that's achieved through meditation, tasks/deeds, creation/art, or ritual. They do provide guided activities, and group singing and chanting every seventh day, one morning and one evening session, along with some words of encouragement and thoughts from a main speaker.

Charity.
This means charity work, aiding the sick, helping to construct shelter or provide food. They do events and take donations too, of course. This is mostly the public face of the Blood Circle, and how most other kin would know them. Helpfulness, humility, and charity are some of their main focuses.

Equality.
A fairly egalitarian bunch, they believe differences help contribute to the whole. All types of kin and relationships are welcome. It's all the same blood underneath, after all.

Nonviolence.
Mostly peaceful! As far as anyone knows! They prefer to solve disputes through diplomacy. Or their enemies disappearing very suddenly, probably as a miracle because of their good faith.

Blood Sacrifices
What blood sacrifices!

Day to Day

Day to Day
MotherFather or Other?
The Blood Circle is multidenominational. Praise be! Small, intimate worship sessions are generally provided on FirstDay for the MotherFather, and FifthDay for the Other. They just seem like First and Fifth day sort of deities respectively. The Blood Circle was just formed recently, but they have already made a sort of nesty, natural structure for the MotherFather and hastily put up a dark corner with bubbly offerings for the Other. Even if the two seem to have some contentions to work out between them. The Blood Circle isn't too fussed if Friends are more keen on one than the other. Everyone has their own path. A blood-covered one!

Tribe Roles:
Everyone shares roles, and may be asked to do different tasks day to day. Assignments are handed out FirstDay, and last through SeventhDay. Tasks may include cooking, cleaning, gathering, building, or helping tend to the sick. A helpful attitude towards ones Friends is appreciated. Although parts of the day are organised, there is plenty of free time for kin to pursue their own spiritual progression and relationships.

Days:
The Blood Circle uses a seven day cycle to chart various events. These days are known as FirstDay, SecondDay, ThirdDay, FourthDay, FifthDay, SixthDay, and SeventhDay.

Lambs/Children:
Children without markings are raised by the tribe normally, but as an adult they can't be a member.

Familiars
Familiars are welcome, with or without a blood marking. However, familiars that have a mark are considered Friends who also have a special purpose. It is fortunate to have this kind of companion. Friends are not allowed to hunt or eat a Familiar with a blood marking.

Blood Sacrifices
Okay, okay. So maybe there is a little blood sacrifice. Some Friends are not aware of this aspect of the tribe, and just participate in all the usual activities normally. For Friends that are interested, Blood Sacrifices are Fourthday (when a sacrifice is available) and besides the chanting, circles, and cloaked disguises it is regarded as a pretty cheery event not far off of a potluck. The sacrifices are either familiars or kin (never ones with a blood splatter mark) that need dispatching for the greater good. Usually this is dangerous criminals or hostile parties, or if a familiar, one that has been dangerous or a pest. If there isn't anyone or anything available, the meeting is just a fairly mundane taking of minutes and news. Friends "in the know" may receive extra chores, such as making poisons, espionage, abduction, and assassination. As with worship of the MotherFather or the Other, this is considered an additional but equally viable "path" for helping the Community. It is not too far off of other tribes's ways of dealing with hostile parties, just maybe with some additional weirdness, ritual, and secrecy sprinkled in.
