[BRP] Taking Root x ???

Post by Illusei »

Even the air stood still, so peaceful it was in this early morning. Taking Root was already up, even earlier than she usually is. She was not alone however; the birds woke before her and she could hear the gentle buzz of dragonflies flitting about the swamp.

Taking Root took her time as she searched for suitable materials for her nest. Soft moss for little heads to rest on, sturdy branches to keep its shape, leaves for warmth. She had grown quite large and she moved slowly. There was no need to rush anyway. Taking Root had been building it with care over the past few months, and it was nearly ready. It will be a good, warm place to raise her foals once they were ready to come into this world.

There were other things to be done. She needed to be eating well for her foals and she was growing hungry. She was also due for a bath. She headed back towards her nest, satisfied with her morning bounty.

Silently, she sent a little prayer to the Legendary Ones that her foals be well and plentiful. She had faith they were listening.

[BRP] Taking Root x ???

As fortune would have it, a legendary kin was wandering about nearby.

As fortune would further have it, said legendary was out looking for nesting materials herself.

Tidal Terror spent much of her life being practical, as well as a bit willful.

Having her own foals on the way did not keep her from being self-sufficient (to the chagrin of her entire family).

And so she approached, slow and lumbering herself, feeling more like a tortoise than a totoma.
Which was a very strange way to feel, considering her abilities.

"Hail and well-met!" she called, internally begging to not need to chase after this kiokote in her current state.
