Having spent the night wandering, feeling oddly like something had drawn him here, the buck was now curled up in the roots of the downed tree in his duck form. Lightly snoozing in the clump of wood, dirt, and moss as his glowing egg bounced lightly over his head. While the inside of the root bundle was alight with his glow, from the outside it would have been difficult to notice the moonlight glow beneath the beams of sun shining through the leaves. The humming wasn't actually what fully woke him from his snooze, it was the thump on the trunk that cause his little bleary eyes to open. A small yawn escaped his beak as the white and blue miniduck wiggled his wings and made his way out of the root bundle, popping his head out of the top of his hiding spot to investigate the noises above him.
It was then Shadowed Moon found himself face to face with... a red coral? Odd. Beautiful, but odd. He was shocked enough by the unexpected sight it took him a moment to fully process that someone must have brought it here. After all, it's not like the coral could have come into the woods itself. Looking around the legendary saw a fluffy black Kimeti, one who seemed quite excited by the look of it. What a unique pattern the other buck had, and he seemed like quite the friendly sort! Perhaps this was why he had been waiting here, to speak to his obviously waiting kin. With a smile that was much less obvious on his current face, the kin-in-duck-form let out a happy quack to draw the attention of the one before him, waiting expectantly for a response. His first time assisting another kin as a legendary had gone quite well, despite his mistakes, so he was rather excited at the prospect of being able to do so again.
