Naming Story: Life is harsh. All totoma know this. The best way to avoid pain is to end it as quickly as possible, when possible. But from a young age she would not accept this as the only reality. Where others might decide that mercy should be a swift end, she would rescue critters with broken limbs, bloodied, hurting -- those who needed shelter and help could always find solace with her. She cared for those who needed care, learned to tend wounds, even create a splint if it was needed.
It wasn't long before she earned her reputation. The child of mercy of another kind. The one who would save anyone who could be saved.

Personality: Light Behind Her Eyes is largely blind -- she can't see much beyond blurry shapes and faded colors. For this reason, her other senses tend to be a bit heightened, but she otherwise relies on family and friends to help her get about the swamp. She finds that kindness gets her more help than rudeness, which is fine by her as she doesn't really have the temper to be rude to anyone, and she tends to make kind acquaintances all over the swamp. Those who know her well, however, will eventually realize that not all of the friends she is acquainted with seem to be real, and her blurry vision sometimes seems to trick her into thinking that more kin are in a social circle than are actually present...
