It was a stormy day when a group of Totoma were wandering around the mountain. Suddenly, a crack of thunder was heard and the earth moved, causing rocks to fall. The leading male could see it happening before the others and shouted, "Quick! Run to the mountain, we must go under the mountain to avoid the rocks! Under the Mountain!" With those words spoken, the male led the way. The long haired buck guided the other Totoma away from the falling debris and led them to an underground cave. The chant of "Quick, under the mountain!" could be heard. Once the rumbling, had stopped a hush fell over the crowd of Totoma. They looked at the one who led them to safety. A chant of "under the mountain" began once they knew they were safe.
