Winter Gift Swap

Blue and Rejam thought it would be fun to do a Matope Secret Santa swap! If you’re interested in sending and receiving packages, are 18 or older (or have your parent’s consent to participate), and a Matope regular (and we do mean trusted regulars only, please!),read on.
AS A SWAPPER: Send in the questionnaire. We’ll sort through them, then send you an email with your recipient’s information. Your recipient and the person sending to you will be different! You will then be responsible for meeting the deadline.
AS A GIVER: You’ll be assigned a partner whom you will anonymously research and then to whom you will send a gift box! Please keep your gift[s] to under $20USD MAXIMUM TOTAL (before postage), gift wrap it/them nice and pretty if you like, and have it in the mail by DECEMBER 31st, 2011! Domestic packages MUST ship with Delivery Confirmation; please retain your tracking number. Include your email address or some other way for your recipient to get into contact with you and say thanks! If you can’t meet the 20.00 maximum that’s ok–remember, everyone loves handmade things and art and will appreciate your time and what you do give.
AS A RECIPIENT: You’ll need to be extra-sure the questionnaire contains everything your partner needs to know to avoid sending you something you’re allergic to or offended by. You MUST SEND US AN EMAIL WHEN YOU RECEIVE. You MUST also send a thank you to your giver. We’re all devoting time, attention, and money, and gratitude is so appreciated!
Please format your email subject line: “SWAP (your country) to (where you’re willing to ship).
Examples: SWAP USA > USA, SWAP USA > ANYWHERE, SWAP AUSTRALIA > ANYWHERE.
If you are not in the USA please be prepared to pay international postage; we cannot guarantee you a swap partner otherwise.
Please remember your partner WILL be able to see all of the answers in your questionnaire.
